There is something magical about
Warthog Way™ ... a soft, elusive element that
cannot be described until you embark on a journey that spans two
continents.
The journey starts in South Africa. Our linen is individually hand-made in
Kwa-Zulu Natal and imported into the United States by Snap To It, Inc. The
highly talented and successful Margie Howard has employed and trained
previously unskilled and unemployed local Zulu women in producing our
wonderful products. They work in a relaxed, warm atmosphere with groups of
women chatting or singing while they hand-stitch or embroider a design.
Warthog Way's products are assisting them to achieve more economic
independence.
The journey involves the creative flair, vision and dedication of three
mothers. They knew that unsurpassed quality, unique styling and classic
designs would always be in demand. With their collective skills and
talents in textile design, manufacturing, international business, sales
and marketing, Warthog Way™ was established.
Our name and logo was inspired by one of the most comical, spirited and
tenacious, yet phenomenally paternal, animals of the African bushveld.
We hope that as you wallow in Warthog Way™ with us, you too will embark on
this journey of whimsical, wonderful wares for your child's room.
We will be adding
children's
linens and leisure wear to our range, so do check back with us soon.
